Mobile phone has been shifted to the third generation from the second generation while the output power of the third-generation mobile phones becomes smaller than conventional ones. When compared to the exposure of the third generation mobile phones, there is a possibility that exposure by external radio waves can not be ignored. In this study, we consider the external radio waves as a radio wave of mobile phone base stations and evaluated the exposure from the external radio waves quantitatively by numerical calculation using the human body models of an adult and a child, and compared with the exposure values from a third-generation mobile phone terminal. As a result, depending on conditions, it is suggested that there are cases where exposure of both become the same level. |
