Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In distributed systems operating on a large network such as the Internet, it is difficult to check the
behavior in a real network before their operation. Developers can understand the behavior of large-scale distributed
systems by the simulation. To accommodate the distributed system of larger scale, the simulation needs to be
performed by a plurality of computers. In this paper, as a preliminary evaluation for large-scale distributed system
simulation using a general-purpose distributed processing system performs a simulation on the Hadoop MapReduce
and Spark, 2 one of the general-purpose distributed processing system, were compared with the evaluation of its
