Evaluation of Field Experiment for Routing Algorithm in Wi-Fi Mesh Network and Application for Agricultural Field

(in English) This paper describes field experimental results about AODV routing protocol for mesh and multi-hop networks based on WiFi technologies under outdoor conditions. In the field experiment, we constructed mesh and multi-hop networks by using routing devices which were implemented AODV routing protocols. By using the constructed system, the experimental results of route discovery time, end-to-end throughput and delay-time performances, and conditions for switching routes were analyzed in this paper. Furthermore, we constructed a network application and system for agriculture based on Wi-Fi multi-hop network. We describe outlines of the field experiments of the agricultural network system which achieved remote monitoring the environmental information such as temperature, humidity, and levels of carbon dioxide and remote controlling system.
