| (in English) | A parallel encoding algorithm for low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes is realized by partitioning a hypergraph representation for the LDPC codes. We need to analyze the number of parallel processes for evaluating the execution time of this encoding algorithm. As a first step of analyzing the number of parallel processes, this paper derives a necessary condition that the number of parallel processes is more than one for the regular LDPC codes. To derive this condition, we prove that the necessary condition is given the cutsize to a partition of hypergraph representation for LDPC code and give the cutsize distribution for the hypergraph representation of the regular LDPC code ensembles. |
