A Formation Control of UAVs for Layered Indoor Localization

(in English) When a disaster happens, emergency responders get into collapsing and burning buildings to nd survivors. They need to have position orientation devices in buildings in order to prevent a secondary disaster, however,global positioning system (GPS) does not work well indoors. Therefore, the use of unmaned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has been proposed as an alternative scheme for indoor localization. In this paper, we propose a weighted least squares (WLS)-based indoor localization scheme using UAVs. In addition, we discuss a formation control of UAVs to improve the localization accuracy.
