[Poster Presentation] Performance Evaluation of UWB RAKE Reception for Dynamic On-body to On-body BAN Environment

(in English) In BAN (Body Area Network) which observes continuously vital data for a long time, low power consumption and high reliability communication are required. However, deterioration of the communication quality for position of arm in walking is observed when wristband type sensor node is used. Bit Error Rate (BER) performance of UWB-IR (Ultra Wide Band Impulse Radio) is studied with measured propagation characteristics of dynamic BAN in indoor environment. Improvement of the communication quality is observed for RAKE reception.
