The Optimal Path Selection Method for Each Application in SDN

(in English) Research on Quality of Service (QoS) is important to ensure the communication service quality. Unlike conventional resource reservation and priority control approaches, in this study we have proposed a method for selecting an appropriate path to meet the demands of the application based on the end-to-end delay to realize the guarantee of communication quality due to the dynamic path selection. In this paper, we introduce the concept of Software-Defined Network (SDN) and describe the design of the proposed method and implementation using OpenFlow. We perform evaluation by simulation experiments.
