| (in English) | A parametric loudspeaker has very sharp directional characteristics. In recent years, acoustic system with presence has been investigated using a plurality of parametric loudspeaker. In this report we conducted listening tests using left and right parametric loudspeakers, and revealed the characteristics of the sound localization from listening test results. Specifically we have considered the characteristics of the sound localization in case of changing the sound pressure level difference between the two loudspeakers. We used the Head-Related Transfer Function in order to clarify the potential of sound localization to outside of loudspeaker. It was confirmed sound could localize to outside of parametric loudspeaker. Furthermore, in order to make clear whether sound can localize in the front, back, left and right directions, we conducted the additional listening tests, and revealed the characteristics of the sound localization in detail. | |
