To stabilize the frequency of millimeter wave radio signal generated by beat component of two-tone light,we have to keep the difference frequency of them. We studied how to keep the frequency variation less than several tens MHz. We practiced effective use of optical wavelength monitor with etalon used in laser source for WDM optical fiber communication system. It was revealed that the frequency variation around 50MHz could be detected with simple optical system. |
