| (in English) | This paper presents an extended HMM that models both sequence length and sequence interval of sequential data. The structure of sequential data is represented by sequence order, sequence length, sequence interval, and sequences duplicated in a period. Focusing on Hidden Semi-Markov Model (HSMM) that is an extended model of HMM and can handle sequence order and sequence length, we propose two extended models of HSMM. The fist approach introduces Interval State into HSMM called IS-HSMM. The second approach is a further extended method of IS-HSMM, called eIS-HSMM, to handle the True Transition probability to avoid modeling performance degradation when many intervals are included in a sequence. The True Transition probability indicates the state transition probability without any interval symbol in a sequences. At the end of paper, we evaluate these proposed models comparing with the original HSMM in terms of recognition performances and modeling performances. | |
