Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Detecting vulnerabilities in the mission-critical software is the key issue for production networks. However, recent research efforts have a problem about scalability in representing and processing massive states of large scale system. In this paper, we propose vulnerability detection method with an annotated context-free grammar with LR parser. We formulate the grammar for representing the implementation flaw and apply it for detecting vulnerabilities. Then, proposed system can extract blocks such as loop and selection with generated parser. Experimental results show proposed method can handle the feature of software vulnerability properly which have been already confirmed widely such as Xen hypervisor.
