| (in English) | In implementation of Broadcasting Satellite Service (BSS), it is important to monitor continuously that the radio waves from the satellite are received stably and clearly all over the service area. As a direct approach for that purpose, there is a method of measuring the electric field strength at the monitor points set on the fringes of the service area. Broadcasting Satellite System Corporation (B-SAT) has built a receiver system, which has several receivers on the fringes of Japan, to check the stability of BSS. This system is centrally-managed at Tokyo. This paper describes the outline of the system. | |
