[Invited Talk] Characterization of Radio Propagation Channel for Microwave and Millimeter Wave Mobile Communication Systems -- Toward 5G New Radio Access Technology --
Jun-ichi Takada (Tokyo Tech) AP2015-141 RCS2015-224
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Aiming at higher bit-rate and larger network capacity, researches on the
use of microwave and millimiter wave in the mobile communication systems
have been active.
This paper reviews the propagation characteristics of microwave and millimeter
wave from different aspects, e.g. basic theory, simulation, measurement and
modeling.
Keyword (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) radiowave propagation / 5G mobile communication systems / microwave and millimeter wave / propagation simulation / MIMO channel sounding / double directional channel modeling / /
