Confirmation of radiation pattern of satellite antenna is very important for beam formation. National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) conducts the research and development of fundamental technology of satellite antenna radiation pattern on the ground. In order to observe the temporal change of the beam shape, multiple earth stations are used for measurement system and this system called the footprint measurement system. (“footprint” means the on-ground beam shape of the satellite antenna). In this paper, we study the pattern estimation error caused by the allocation of earth station. |
