Inter-user interference (IUI) caused by channel time variation reduces multiuser MIMO transmission capacity. Massive MIMO null-space expansion was proposed to suppress it. This paper further investigates IUI suppression performance of null-space expansion by focusing propagation parameters such as K factor and angular spread which affect channel correlation. The vector space of channel time variation is evaluated by using singular value decomposition. IUI suppression via null-space expansion becomes effective in LoS (Line-of-Sight) dominant channel environment, which provides limited vector space of channel time variation. |
