NTT Access Network Service Systems Laboratories have been working on the research and development of the highly efficient satellite communications system that improves the utilization efficiency of the satellite transponder. In order to minimize the unused frequency bands, we have developed key modules named Highly Efficient Group Modem Module and Turbo Codec Module that enable max. 64 channel variable symbol rate signals to be flexibly arranged at the desired frequency in the transponder. This paper reports the outline and performance of developed products. |
