In this paper, the scattering problem by incidence of the plane wave is surveyed. The scatterer is a circular disc of perfect conductor, and the incident wave comes from the slant of a conductor disc. The complex current distribution induced to the disc is calculated by the FDTD method. In addition, the numerical values are compared with the rigorous solution using multiple precision arithmetic. |
