Conducting polymers have been attracting attentions from the viewpoint of processing because they are soluble in solvent. Many of such conducting polymers are known to be molten at relatively low temperatures. Poly(3-dodecylthiophene)(PAT12) is one of the conductive polymers with these properties. Devices with PAT12 sandwiched between an ITO electrode and a vacuum-deposited Au electrode have been found to increase in the electrical resistance at room temperature after PAT12 was melt. In this report, we have studied about the cause of the increase in the electrical resistance and the characteristics of devices by AC measurement. |
