Performance Enhancement of Segmented File Download Method Using PR-SCTP with Suitable Control Parameters

(in English) To yield better performance on highly lossy networks, a segmented file download method composed of both Time-to-Live (TTL) based PR-SCTP which limits the retransmission time and unordered delivery which alleviates the influence of Head-of-Line blocking problem. In this report, we evaluate the effect of some parameters of the segmented file download method which have not been well discussed in the existing researches, examine the effectiveness of the existing requesting method compared with the ideal requesting method, i.e. the saturated flow case, and also estimate the effect of the unordered delivery itself.
