[Invited Lecture] A Study on an RF equipment of a massive MIMO base station using highly integrated RF front-end MMICs

(in English) In a fifth generation mobile communication system, it is studied that the small cell base stations carry out data communications with the user terminals to expand the capacity. It is discussed that the massive MIMO technology at EHF / SHF band is applied to the small-cell base station. When the technology is applied, it is afraid that the equipment size becomes too large because the technology requires many RF analog circuits. In this paper, we will discuss the study of the RF analog section miniaturization.
