Our recent study of multiple object tracking (MOT) provides evidence that human can track moving targets when one of targets or distractors change depth in 3D. In this report, we describe the results of an experiment in which participants could track the targets when either all targets or all distractors changed depth from one plane to another. We found that there was no significant effect in changing-in-depth objects when all the targets or distractors changed their depth from one plane to another. Our results also proved that tracking performance depend on initial set of attention prior attentive tracking regardless of number of changing-in-depth objects. |
