We propose a transport layer data copying method for transport network, maximizing IP offloading efficiency even while multicast and unicast traffic are multiplexed in single network. We investigated a performance of transport network system with transport layer data copying that depends on how copying function is implemented. We also discuss about a hit-less protection method for the transport system, enabling less bandwidth consumption and high reliability. |
