A method of detecting earthquake early warning signals for ISDB-T terrestrial television with emergency warning signal detection

(in English) There are two ways of automatically waking up an ISDB-T television receiver. They are referred to as the emergency warning system and the earthquake early warning. The former uses a control channel named transmission and modulation configuration control, TMCC, and the latter employs an another control channel named the auxiliary channel, AC. It is important for mobile users receiving these signals to be initially advised whether an emergency alert is issued. A method of detecting the earthquake early warning signal with the AC parity while synchronizing the frame by means of TMCC is proposed in this paper.
