Proposal for a method to generate and detect a transmission signal using code sequences -- A transmission system using process of despread and correlation --

(in English) This report will discuss generating and detecting method of a code type transmission signal that enables improvement of SNR of the signal detected by making use of cascade process of DS-SS spread spectrum and correlation. With this configuration, since the data are mapped onto spreading codes to be sent and decoded from the set of codes that provide the maximal peak of the correlation calculated from the detected signal, the communicable distance of the system will be expanded keeping high bpc(bit per chip) ratio. In order to simultaneously evaluate the bpc and the distance, an ID index that represents the product of the bpc and the distance has been introduced.The index value of this technology is 3.85 for the process of fast comparison and 7.53 for full comparison, both of which exceed the index of 1.2 or less of any existing system.
It is expected that this technology will be used for fixed wireless communications systems and all generations of the mobile communications systems including 5G as well as satellite applying to the physical layer or the application layer.
