Theory for depth and motion imaging by the vibro-ocular stereo method -- Verification the principle and experimental evaluation --

(in English) This paper describes a method for simultaneous image measurement of depth
and lateral (perpendicular to optical axis) translational motion
by the vibro-ocular stereo method which operates purely passively
without using structured light.
We calculate circular and translational motion components
from a single frame captured by the correlation image sensor.
From them, we obtain depth and motion of the object.
We justify the principle by numerical simulation.
Basic experimental evaluations in laboratory
of simultaneous mesurement performace are shown.
