[Poster Presentation] A study on improved scheme of subcarrier allocation order in downlink non-orthogonal multiple access

(in English) In the next-generation mobile communication system, it is considered that a system capacity is enlarged by exploiting a non-orthogonal multiple user access. In downlink multicarrier non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) scheme, each subband is allocated to single or multiple users by using a scheduling algorithm. In this scheduling, the proportional fairness is usually considered and users with few allocated resources are assigned on a priority basis. However, the fairness up to previous frames to be allocated was taken into account to reduce the complexity of scheduling. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an improved scheduling scheme, where the fairness index is updated during the scheduling on a target frame, and also the subband order to be allocated is adaptively changed to make better subband selected to a priority user. Then, the priority user may be allocated into a good subband and the capacity is increased by the proposed scheme. Numerical results show that the proposed scheme can improve both the system capacity and the fairness among users simultaneously.
