Hepatectomy always involves high risk of serious bleeding rerated to complexity in vascular anatomy of liver. 3D printed liver model can give surgeons an accurate anatomical image to perform hepatectomy safely without stress. Having used the model in the operation field until 2014, we considered that intraoperative use was very helpful. In this paper, we describe knacks and techniques from a clinical point of view about how to make the printed liver model for intraoperative use and how to applicate in the sterilized operation field. |
