Electric and Magnetic Coupling Calculation between Non-identical Resonators

(in English) Coupling coefficient is an important parameter in RF filter design and wireless power transfer. The overlap integral method has been proposed to calculate the coupling coefficient and its electric/magnetic components. In this report, the overlap integral method is extended to calculate coupling coefficient between non-identical resonators. The improved method can be used for the metal resonators, which are frequently used in the WPT system and in the RF filters. Some numerical examples are given to show the validity of the improved overlap integral method.
