For further high-availability and facilitated maintenance scheme in nation-wide optical transport network across thousands of office-buildings, this paper introduces shared-resource-pool control scheme and operation architecture utilizing flexible optical wiring infrastructure and centralized controlling technologies. It also proposes design scheme of resource-pool quantity and maintenance immediacy to achieve end-to-end high-availability in nation-wide transport network, and also shows performance attributes of pooled transport resources, in terms of enhanced-network-availability and relaxation in network-maintenance constraints. |
