Efficiency Maximization for Wireless Power Transfer System Using Electromagnetic Coupled Parallel Line Feeder

(in English) This paper investigates the maximum efficiency for a wireless power transfer (WPT) system using electromagnetic coupled parallel line feeder. This paper first derives a three-port network model for the parallel line feeder based WPT system and shows the optimum load impedance to maximize the power efficiency. Numerical results show that the system is capable of achieving high efficiency by controlling the load impedance adaptively depending on the position of the receiver.
