Study of Parasitic Elements of Planar Antenna for Single Channel Full-Duplex Wireless Communication

(in English) Single channel full-duplex wireless communication, which increases the efficiency of the bandwidth utilization, can be achieved by ensuring isolation between a transmitter and a receiver in one node. An antenna with high isolation receives attention as an effective technique for the single channel full-duplex wireless communication. In this paper, a planar antenna with high isolation and omni-directional radiation pattern is introduced. The planar antenna comprises of two dipole antennas and one parasitic resonant structure for increasing isolation between two dipole antennas. The isolation is simulated to be more than 50 dB for a bandwidth of 11 % and the parasitic resonant structure does not change the radiation patterns of the dipole antenna. Measurement results shows that the 50 dB
isolation and the omni-directional radiation pattern are realized.
