Efficient Multi-channel Utilization Method Based on Late Binding Flow Allocation for Packet Loss Reduction in Wireless Mesh Network

(in English) This study implements an efficient multi-channel utilization method for packet loss reduction in wireless mesh networks. Flow allocation methods based on the traffic volume/airtime achieve an increase in network capacity by effectively utilizing multiple channels. However, the calculation of traffic volume/airtime could be incorrect due to packet loss. Accordingly, flow allocation methods lead to inefficient flow allocation. In this paper, we propose and implement a channel utilization method based on late binding flow allocation for packet loss reduction. Furthermore, we prove that the proposed method can reduce packet loss even in complex traffic situations.
