Fabrication and Evaluation of Electromagnetic Wave Absorber using Frequency Selective Surface

(in English) Electromagnetic wave absorption mechanism of the electromagnetic wave absorber with plural conductive patterns on the surface layer was investigated in this paper. Pattern electromagnetic wave absorber was composed of pattern layer; a Frequency Selective Surface, which patterns were designed to the resonant frequency, as a surface layer. The design of shape, alignment, and the pattern area ratio of the conductive pattern, was proposed to be control factor of the intensity of the reflected electromagnetic wave from the electromagnetic wave absorber. Be added to the design factors to control the surface impedance of the electromagnetic wave absorption mechanism through to design and manufacture the thin 2.45 GHz band electromagnetic wave absorber, the electromagnetic wave absorption performance was verified.
