Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Delay/Disruption-Tolerant Networking (DTN) routing mechanisms may require nodes to store and carry messages in their local buffer and replicate many copies. So efficient buffer management is important to increase the packet delivery ratio. In this paper, we explain a problem of data exchange method in epidemic routing under buffer constraints, and we propose a simple data exchange method. Based on the results of simulations in some mobility models, we evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed data exchange method. The simulation results show that it achieves higher delivery ratio compared with its counterpart of conventional method.
