| (in English) | With recent progress of positioning techniques such as GPS, location based routing has been attracted. A location based routing using mobile agent for management of location information has been proposed in order to decrease the amount of control packets. This routing has been enhanced to cope with network scalability by using plural mobile agents. However, there is a problem in this method that the amount of control packets increases as the size of network becomes large. In this paper, we propose an improved method of a location based routing using plural mobile agents. In the proposed method, cooperation among the mobile agents is restricted. Each mobile agent exchanges only new location information with the other agents, and reuse the information to decrease the amount of redundant control packets. From computer simulation, we show the effectiveness of the proposed method. | |
