UWB-QAM Impulse Radio on Fiber Using Optical Pulses Position modulation

(in English) We have proposed the UWB-QAM-IR on fiber using optical pulse position modulation and its demodulation method by down-conversion with twice phase shift. In this paper, we experiment 5 Gb/s QAM UWB-IR with the Q factor > 3 over 1.5 m radio transmission distance. In addition, We investigate the possibility of QAM UWB-IR MISO using plural antennas and show that communication quality improve by simulation.
