| (in English) | Tree-drawing test, in which patients draw a picture of a tree with nuts, has often been used in psychosomatic internal medicine as a conventional psychological test, and this test is useful to examine their mental state. We have proposed to analyze pictures using an image processing method, and supplied effective medical information to diagnose their psychiatric disorder. At this test, it is pointed out that mentally vulnerable patients tend to draw fragmented outlines of tree crowns. This type of picture indicates leakage of mental vigor of the patients. We proposed a new method to translate leakage of tree crowns into the amount of current outflow using equivalent circuit analysis. Therefore, it is plausible that this amount, which indicates leakage level, reflects patients’ personality. | |
