A Performance Evaluation of Beam Resource Utilization for Cellular Communication Systems

(in English) In the next generation mobile communication systems, due to the small cell deployment for achieving high speed and large-capacity communications, macro and small cells will be co-located. Since high propagation loss is occured, high frequency small cell base stations would have array anntenas in order to enhance an antenna gain. In this paper, we verify throughput performances with several cases which achieve beam transition between different base stations.
