We have developed an inexpensive system to evaluate throwing motion using Arduino nano, a microcontroller, and inertial sensor. In this report, we conducted experiments to examine the relationship between the accuracy of throwing motion, their long-throw ability, and the measured value using the sensor. This experiment is conducted toward 14 subjects (8 males and 6 females), who have no experience in flying disc competition. We used the gloves with the sensor, which was developed in the last report, to measure the throwing motion of a flying disc. The result of the analysis showed significant relationship between peak time of the acceleration and angular velocity and the flying distance. |
