| (in English) | Microwave filters are generally used to separate the transmit and receive signals in the antenna feed systems.Especially for satellite communication with narrow guard bandwidth between the transmit and receive bands, waveguide filterswith some transmission zeros are effective. So several types of waveguide filters with some transmission zeros have beenreported. We propose a rectangular waveguide bandpass filter using H-plane coupled external cavities to make transmission zeros.The structure consists of two milled layers to divide E-Plane of filter can be easily manufactured. Furthermore, it can achieve the low loss and the flexible layout. We fabricated two types of proposed filters with guard bandwidth of 2% between the transmit and receive bands. The measured results demonstrated a return loss of 19dB, loss of 0.3dB and isolation of 60dB. In this report, we show the design method and the measurement results. |
