Code modulation visual evoked potential brain computer interface (c-VEP BCI) has been researched widely. The accuracy of c-VEP is improved by averaging of multiple VEPs. The number of averaging determines a tradeoff between its accuracy and input speed, and thus it should be carefully tuned.
In this paper, we apply the automatic repeat request to c-VEP BCI in order to obtain the optimal number of averaging. Furthermore, we also introduce shorter M-sequence and Kasami-sequence to improve the input speed. Experimental results demonstrates the performance of the proposed methods. |
