Multi-input single-output ARX modeling of multi-directional head-related transfer functions

(in English) A set of HRTFs from multi-direction to the ear can be estimated simultaneously by regarding as a multi-input single-output (MISO) system. In this paper, a set of HRTFs from multi-direction are estimated as an MISO auto-regressive exogenous (ARX) model. By using an ARX model, we have common poles for all HRTFs from multi-direction. In order to identify an MISO ARX model, We also propose identification input design method. In this method, input signals are generated by shifting a pseudo-random sequence. The experimental result of estimating 24 HRTFs indicated that the proposed method enables us to obtain HRTFs almost the same as HRTFs estimated one by one as a 128 taps FIR model.
