| (in English) | Content-Centric Networking (CCN) promises to deliver content in a better way than today’s Internet. In CCN, efficient content delivery services can be achieved by using cache storage on routers. To utilize cache resources effectively, caching schemes need to adapt to changes in content popularity because new content items are constantly uploaded. Therefore, we have proposed a selective caching scheme that only caches content likely to be used next according to the estimated content popularity. In the previous study, we showed that this scheme improves the utilization of cache resources in a steady state. In this study, we show its effectiveness under a transient state where content popularity changes through simulation evaluations. | |
