An Efficient Data Collection Scheme for Real-Spatial Information based Group Communication

(in English) Recently, a demand for flexible group communication considering the information of users' location and property is increasing. To achieve reliable and prompt group communication, the network platform system needs to grasp user's information as much as possible.
In this paper, since the management server holds the user's information in the centralized manner, the increase in delay and message losses will happen, when each user individually notifies its information to the management server (i,e.,unicast). Therefore, we propose a new scheme in which the representative nodes are determined in the distributed manner. After that, the representative nodes collect the information from neighboring nodes and notify them to the server at once, thereby decreasing delay and message losses.
Through simulation experiments, we showed that our proposed scheme can improve the collection efficiency by 77{%}.
