We proposed a novel Radio-On-Demand Sensor and Actuator Networks(ROD-SAN) system architecture which allows the efficient use of electrical power and the improvement of response time in Wireless Sensor and Actuator Node. To identify an advantage of ROD-SAN, we conducted a series of field tests. In this paper, we describe contents and the result of the field test. As a result, we show ROD-SAN is superior to the previous periodical sleep schedule method in delivery ratios, control latency and energy efficiency. |
