This study aimed to make a person perceive the robot as a part of self-body by giving the tactile-feedback with small amount of sensors. It has been found that the remote-robot-pilot who receive the real-time tactile feedback when the robot was stimulated feels it as himself. In the case of using force sensor to create the feedback information, we have to arrange the sensor all of covering area. Against it, we propose that to cover the surface of the robot with the balloons. Then, we obtain the tactile information as the balloons’ vibration information with microphones which are arranged at the edge of the balloons. |
