Proximity Test using Spatial Correlation of Radio Wave Propagation and Magnetic Field Vector
Yohei Murakami, Tomoaki Ohtsuki (Keio Univ.) ASN2014-166
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Proximity Tests allow users to determine whether a client is located near them. Proximity Tests are applied to location-based-servicies. To provide privacy protection and location unforgeability,
privacy-preserving proximity tests that do not use actual position attract attention. In this report, we fisrt confirm through experiments that radio wave propagation and magnetic field vector have spatial correlation, respectively.
Based on that, we propose the proximity test using the spatial correlation of radio wave propagation and that of magnetic field vector.
We did experimnets in two environments: Size of room is 5 m × 7 m. Size of rooms are 6.5 m × 7 m and 3 m × 7 m. Our experimental results show that the accuracy of our poroposed proximity test is higher than 90 %.
