| (in English) | Deep perforating arteries including lenticulostriate atery are causative of 1/3 of all strokes. However, these arteirs have not been much investigated, because of their small sizes. High-resolution MR angiography may visualize them, but it takes very long making this option impractical. Therefore, we investigated application of compressed sensing to reduce data acquisition and make scan time shorter. Lenticulostriate artery was evaluated for its branch numbers and total length. The result was that 75% data images were comparable, but 50% data images or less was significantly inferior to the original. MR acquisition with higher signal intensity of lenticulostriate artery was considered necessary to increase the undersampling rate. | |
