Camera Calibration Method for Multi-View Camera Using Angle Sensors and Application to Image Expression

(in English) We propose a camera calibration method for a multi-view camera. The proposed method targets multi-view camera systems that have movable platforms equipped with angle sensors and can compute camera parameters from pan-tilt values obtained from the angle sensors in real time. However, it is necessary to establish the relationship in the position and orientation between the coordinate system of a camera and the coordinate system of the rotational axis of the platform. The proposed method accurately estimates the relationship by taking advantage of multi-view camera and multiple calibration patterns to calibrate cameras with high accuracy. We confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed method through experiments and applied the method to multi-view image expression.
