For applying to clinical diagnostics, a simplified method which can measure temporal modulation transfer function(TMTF) was proposed and evaluated using normal hearings and hearing impaired subjects. The measurement time for proposed method was shortened to be approximately quarter of conventional method. Peak sensitivity and cutoff frequency had high correlation between both methods. On the basis of Bland-Altman analysis, there were no correlation both fixed bias and proportional bias and 95% limits of agreement were smaller than standard deviations (2σ) of averaged thresholds . These results show that this proposed method might be applicable to clinical diagnostics. |
